I’ve been solving problems for over a decade.
I studied visual design and psychology, and along the way discovered human factors and the concept that someone designed every man-made object. This realization dramatically influenced my worldview and makes me consider the way design decisions impact us.
I applied my problem-solving skills to run a successful small business.
As the product manager of a small e-commerce business for seven years, I learned by experimentation while supporting an ambitious enterprise. I facilitated cross-functional communication and ensured the efficiency of all departments.
I thrive on creative and analytical work which mirrors the design process itself.
I have worn many hats and established structure, processes, and internal systems to help business scale effectively. I stayed adaptable and utilized active listening, flexibility, and prioritization to get us where we needed to go. I carried user-centered thinking with me in my prior work, and have now fully committed my career to UX design.
Going forward, I aim to craft meaningful digital experiences and contribute impactful design that is thoughtful, effective, and pleasurable to use.
I care about inclusive design, mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, and environmental sustainability.
